My musical inspiration is from rock, blues, folk, jazz, and electronica. My first appreciation of songwriting was from The Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel. When I picked up the guitar I started to explore more diverse genres. Learning a well known song can be a voyage of discovery, writing something new is a different kind of journey, where you need to write your own map.
